Lots of snow...enough snow to reach the valleys. South side up to approx. 1500m, north side lower

Bad. Slush up to about 2000m, above that everything from hard, a bit of powder and broken snow. Unfortunately not much downhill fun.

First tour into the Ecrins. Changeable weather and mediocre visibility. Snow unfortunately bad, only partly powder in wind-protected hollows.
Snow heavily transformed by heat below 2200 m, above 2200 m still cold snow and chance of powder in wind-protected areas.
