Snow condition
Snow quality
Overall impression
Snow condition
By this morning, about 30cm of fresh powder had been added over 1900m. Base very solid as described above.
Snow quality
Due to the very high humidity and warmth from the previous day, it was very varied, from dust on crust at 1600m to knee-deep dry powder at 3100m. Not world class, but good for a few nice runs.
Risks
Saw some new chutes, considerable danger, a large board came off at Bec de Rosses, the unconnected layer of fresh snow came loose. Not without.
Overall impression
Changing conditions, poor visibility at times, but still a great day. Very busy though.
