Bad and I'm afraid that won't change this year either. We've had about 10-15 cm of fresh snow since the day before yesterday. You actually have to be careful everywhere on the ground, except maybe on pistes.

Unfortunately, the fresh snow would have been amazing: fine, cold dust, but unfortunately far too little and the old snow underneath feels like rough concrete. So the many tracks from yesterday didn't matter.

Risks

Strong winds from the south have caused massive drifting in the higher elevations. The drifting snow is very brittle and, despite the small amounts, certainly not without problems in the corresponding terrain. 1 is a good fit in the lower elevations, the old snow cover is rock solid and only a little above it.

Beautiful, freezing cold day, but the strong wind further up was quite exhausting.
It's a shame that you couldn't really enjoy the fresh snow due to the rock-hard layer of old snow.
Unfortunately, I was only able to take a picture of the snow flags at the very beginning, after that it was no longer possible.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
