Interestingly, the snow conditions have improved in the last two weeks, despite the fact that the season is slowly coming to an end, especially on the north side above about 2400 m. The snow has steadily increased, in combination with the possibility to start on the slopes of the closed ski area, you will probably still be able to ski here for a while, even on the sunny side, meaningful ski tours are still possible, even if the lowest 300 m next to the artificial snow slopes are still open.
Snow quality
It rained a little higher than Kühtau, which was not only not very good for the snow quality, but also meant that we were out in the rain for a few minutes at first. nevertheless, the wet fresh snow (at 2500m almost 20cm) was surprisingly good to ski and very even. too bad it wasn't 5 degrees colder.
Risks
Not too critical, but of course you have to be careful with the wet fresh snow, especially with wet loose snow avalanches.
Overall impression
Could be worse, but it wasn't a big hit today, especially as the visibility was very poor again.
