You can ride as far as the valleys of the Bregenzerwald. That means up to approx. 600,700m. Here it has a maximum of 20cm. This is possible on meadows with little topography. In the very sparse forest you can ride halfway up to approx. 1200m. With cutbacks. Further up it's reasonably OK. Still a long way from 4 stars, of course.

Snow quality

The fresh snow was quite heavy and heavily packed. Goes like this.

Risks

Difficult. The fresh snow fell with a strong wind. On an otherwise very harmless, almost horizontal traverse at around 1700m, I unleashed a veritable thunderstorm. With zero visibility, I started my retreat... Then I went into the forest, but there was simply too little snow.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Above the tree line, zero visibility, absolutely zero. In the forest, well, there's no snow. What's more, the quality wasn't exactly the best

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
