Snow condition
Very little snow on the Kitzsteinhorn. There are a few centimetres of snow on the glacier and the descent to the Alpincenter is on artificial snow. Light snowfall until midday with temperatures just below 0 °C. It was raining in the valley.
Snow quality
Due to the large number of skiers, the ice quickly appeared on the slopes. Of course, you can't ski off-piste.
Risks
The danger comes from stones and crevices.
Overall impression
It's nice to be back on skis despite the really bad weather. However, it needs a good amount of fresh snow!
