Apart from all the fresh snow, it still doesn't look that good. The snow quality was just too good, if the snow settles it will be good. Still no snow in the forest.

Champagne - 5th star simply missing due to lack of base... 40-70cm new in the last few days depending on exposure and altitude.
Risks
Stayed below the forest line and traveled through rather flat terrain. Avalanche situation corresponding to 2.
Overall impression
Weather much better than expected in the morning, still snowing and even clearing up at times. Snowfall again in the afternoon.
