Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Little snow, as west-facing, some drift snow accumulations and heavy blowing. Partly old drift snow or hardened old wet snow avalanches. Minimal powder to be found in the forest. Otherwise relatively much base, no rock contact from 1000m upwards.

Snow quality

1 von 5 Sterne

In the shade, a thick layer of snow and ice due to the many descents. Slightly firny in the sun, even at higher altitudes, but always interspersed with frozen snow packs. Minimal powder to be found in the forest. Generally hard old snow

Risks

Avalanche problems of the last week, i.e. drifting snow and wet snow becoming old snow, therefore no longer pose a danger.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Breathtaking tour, but less rewarding at the moment, as the descent is more strenuous than fun. Tours in this area have to be limited to the higher altitudes, but you will hardly find good snow there either.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
