Snow report Zauchensee, 11/23/2015
Dank der Schneekanonen und der eifrigen Pistenbullys schauts in Zauchensee schon besser aus als ich mir erwartet hät!

The snow situation itself is bad. About 5 cm of natural snow at the bottom and 15 cm at the top. However, the snow cannons are in continuous operation and so a descent without contact with stones is already possible. At least where the Pistenbully has already gone, there is a groomed track up to the Gamskogelhütte. It's really hard and icy in places, but you can get down easily and the slope above the Gamskogelhütte has been prepared a little wider. It's already pretty good for skiing at the top!

First ski tour of the season, fantastic weather, few people and no rock contact.
