Varianten im Stubai, von Powder bis Slush :)

Snow condition
All variants possible in the area from Gamsgarten. Quite a lot of snow for this season. Unfortunately, not all lifts are still running, which is why some variants require more effort than usual. Some fresh snow from Mon. and Tue. Just enough to make a fine dusting. No more snow in the valley. We didn't try Wilde Grube, but there is still some snow on the descent under the gondola. It won't reach all the way down into the valley here either, but it could be possible.
Snow quality
In the morning, still dry powder on the north side. But the wind was everywhere. But it skied very well. From Gamsgarten 2600hm to the middle station 2300hm from 11:00 fine slushy. All in all fun to ride. Schaufelspitz was also done. We asked about it: it was easy to ride, but also with a bit of wind cover. But it was easy to handle.
Risks
no more LLB. Yesterday there was an avalanche from extremely steep terrain on the Daunferner involving people. The avalanche was considerable and started almost directly on the ridge. We didn't see any dry boards today, but a lot of wet loose snow avalanches. These were frequent before midday, especially below 2500 meters.
Overall impression
Many possibilities and still good snow with top weather in May. Therefore 4 stars :)
