The thaw of the past few weeks has done a great job. There really wasn't much old snow left. Where it still exists, it's quite good. Around 40 cm has fallen with a fair amount of wind. Perfectly adequate for the meadows, nothing for rock and forest... If there's more snow, it could be quite good. But nothing is really possible below 1100 m. So it's still close!

Well, quite nice snow, but heavily bound, probably due to wind and heat. After the dry spell, you could have given it three stars. But actually only deserved two...

Risks

Huuui, there was a lot going on right away: a partial burial in the Zastlerloch with two decent avalanches. Towards midday the wind picked up strongly and carpentered extremely large amounts into the well-known holes. I therefore decided not to go.

Because it's winter again, it gets two stars. But only because of that
