Started out on an east-facing tour at just under 1000 meters. It was still possible, but the ground was already peeking out in places.
Snow quality
The top slope was quite nice to ride in water ski style. Below it was more about getting down safely, very wet and deep.
Risks
Tense today due to the wet, packed snow. I stepped down a cornice on a ridge on an east-facing slope...at that moment I had the feeling I was far enough away, in hindsight it was of course very, very stupid.
