Snow condition

One could now give 3 stars, with the restriction from about 1200m and of course not in the forest. Tonight we got another 20cm of snow on top.

Good. The snow from yesterday evening/night now came without wind. The whole thing was based on the snowfall on Tuesday and Sunday. Really very nice to ride. Not an ultra-light blower but already pretty good.

Risks

In the Allgäu, the LLB issued a 4 today! In the directly neighboring Bregenzwald a 3 was reported. Ok, maybe it snowed a bit more in the Allgäu, but I still don't quite understand the difference. Anyway, no experiments. It's tense and now the wind is blowing again. Defensive is the motto of the hour.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Yesterday I wanted to go home after 2-3 rides because of zero visibility and so-so snow quality. Today was the opposite, the day could have been a few hours longer. Top visibility, soft, smooth snow, left the stunted forest behind me, fast turns, light forest, just don't stop, no photos, further, more, the 10,000 m already passed - hey, actually 4 stars.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
