Anything but lush. There are only a few centimetres of snow on the road below and the hiking trail above. It is also completely bare in places. Because the lower layer is very hard, the descent and ascent are still going smoothly at the moment. But I'm afraid that it will only take a few warm days for it to look completely different. On the summit slope there are also large patches of snow due to strong winds.

Quite passable up to 1700m. Very hard from the summit, but at least rideable. After that we had about 200m of mostly 10cm of blown powder on a hard layer. It was surprisingly pleasant. Below 1700m on our descent at 10am it was unpleasantly rough. But it was ok, as we skied most of it on the well-trodden paths. The slush was already slightly damp at the top, but I think it got better as the day went on.

Risks

In the summit area, the few centimetres of fresh snow were heavily blown away. But nowhere in the terrain has there been a lot of drift snow. I would be cautious on steep things at the moment, the wind was also very strong at the top during our tour today.

Very beautiful scenery and the first 300 m were much better than expected. Thought the descent would be more strenuous than the ascent Let's see what's left after the heat at the weekend.
