In the Höhenbachtal valley between Holzgau (approx. 1100 m) and the lower Roßgumpenalm outside the summer trail, very little to no snow. Direct onward route towards Kemptener Hütte the same for now. On the summer trail today we had to unbuckle our skis unbuckle 5-10 times. The ascent with skins is still going quite well on the whole. From approx. 1600 m onwards, the snow cover is closed. It looks pretty good at the top. Krottenkopf could be skied from the top, Mädelegabel from almost the top.

Pretty much everything except powder. In the morning it wasn't really frozen through on either day. That's why it was always quick to turn beautiful firn into deep swamp. With good timing but great firn runs.

Risks

Pay attention to daytime heating. Otherwise currently very safe. Depending on how much snow comes over the weekend, this will change for the time being.

Overall impression

Top conditions for larger undertakings :-)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
