Snow condition
The snow conditions I encountered there were quite reasonable. The snow cover was closed up to about 600 meters above sea level. The piste conditions were excellent thanks to artificial snowmaking. Away from the pistes, you can at least ski freely in moderate terrain (on meadows and mountain pastures). The snow cover is compact and icy in areas exposed to the wind, but I would strongly advise against skiing on steep and stony terrain or in the forest at the current time (2.01.). The 3 cm of fresh snow on Monday evening did nothing to change this.

Risks
The avalanche risk was virtually zero when I left, but will have to be reassessed depending on the amount of precipitation in the coming days
Overall impression
In any case, the existing base is a positive factor. On the negative side, the current weather conditions mean that it will be difficult for the snowfall to bond with the surface. Caution is therefore advised, especially as stormy gusts are also involved.3 points for a great start to the season in a low mountain range.
