Still perfect for Black Forest conditions. Snow cover begins from approx. 300 - 400 m from the Dreisamtal, whereby the white splendor will quickly come to an end in the lower areas with the warming and the rain. In Hinterzarten about 1 m, towards Feldberg a little more.
Snow quality
Nice powdery surface on very hard old snow. Not exhilarating, but it could be worse (see my last report).
Risks
Flat tour on forest paths/tracks...
Overall impression
The Black Forest is perfect for a short after-work headlamp tour. Top snow conditions and a clear night, so it's fun!
