Starting point both times at the chairlift in Losenheim. Continuously accessible via the Fadenweg. Crampons are an advantage. Crampons are necessary on the Fadensteig. The north-facing plateau is covered with an icy glaze which remains so until midday. There is enough snow in the south-southwest gullies. The way back to the car via the gravel road goes without any problems.

The gully season is here :)! First day, entry shortly before 12 a.m. It was already too much of a good thing and the snow was already rather slushy from 1500m downwards. Second day, entry around 10am. Perfectly groomed all the way down to the valley.

Risks

Nothing noticeable in the last two days. You should watch out for broken cornices and the risk of falling on the icy climbs is certainly also an issue.

Unfortunately not free otherwise I would go up again the next few days. If Schneeberg then now. :)

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
