Snow condition

3 von 5 Sterne

Since this morning about 40cm of fresh snow at 1700m, increasing slightly towards the top. It should continue to snow tonight in any case, then the 3 stars for tomorrow will fit. On our reconnaissance tour yesterday we could already see that we still need snow.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

Nice, cold and light powder even above the tree line without much wind influence. Dusting properly.

Risks

The critical amount of fresh snow has certainly been exceeded, but the fresh snow is falling without much wind influence. Yesterday, before the snowfall, some drifts were visible above the tree line. We will certainly be on the move defensively over the next few days.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Ordinary fresh snow and poor visibility are a challenge in unknown terrain, but fortunately a nice dusty descent in safe terrain jumped out.
Hut life is casual, this morning the sausages were prepared to dry.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
