einfach nur fantastisch!

since yesterday another 30-60cm have been added. especially in the upper area (almost 2000m above sea level) super fluffy. even in the forest hardly any fine contact and if then only further down in the dense forest.
Snow quality
very nice blower down to about 1300m, below that a bit more compact. with the warming of the day and the sun it has become noticeably heavier, but still great to ride. still great in the shade.
Risks
tricky. the fresh snow fell below the tree line with relatively little wind, but it only bonded well with the base and the old snow to a limited extent. with the warming and the sun it quickly became quite dangerous, and that was the end for me.
Overall impression
the 5 stars have to be today, because after yesterday it went one better. a borderline brilliant day, with the finest pow, what felt like 3 competitors and untracked from start to finish. at lunchtime it was over, because you don't have to force your luck and it just got too dangerous. Unfortunately almost no photos, riding was more important.
