Snow condition
Still great despite the rain last night. Before that it had snowed for almost 24 hours, so the few hours of rain didn't make much difference. Today it was very warm in the sun and the beautiful snow cover on the trees disappeared right to the top.
Snow quality
Ai, there wasn't much left to get. Yesterday morning there was about 30 cm of nice powder snow, which was very nice to ride but got heavier and heavier as the day went on. Today it was a mixture of snow and ice like at the fish counter.
Risks
Meteofrance continues to report a triple. In the last 24 hours, many steep slopes have spontaneously descended and some blasting operations were also very successful (see pictures, the ski routes were then opened during the course of the day). Overall, the rain and warmth are certainly doing the snowpack good after all the fresh snow.
Overall impression
Now the sun and the warmth are here, it's good that it was still snowing late yesterday evening. Unfortunately, there's no more powder now, at least <2400 m, but there's been plenty over the last few days.
