Info: Info from Saturday. There's a solid base in the Bedretto valley at the back and it's been covered with snow every time it falls. Very little at the start of the valley (Airolo) - there is an urgent need for replenishment

Snow quality

Wow, everything except something soft. Well, at the tree line there was some powder that was easy to ski. Everything else is hard - even if it looks soft. Zastrugis, wind-cleared slabs, ice surfaces that had the same surface as the few powder sections.

Risks

Lots of wind - but there was no snow that could have been blown away at all.

Overall impression

Driving after the nice weather - like many others. Still a beautiful tour in breathtaking scenery - and delicious espresso.
In picture two you can probably see the famous Cavanna cloud - it doesn't move an inch and is constantly producing record amounts of snow.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
