Above-average snow conditions as known. Descent to Biberwier easily possible. No stone contact even in the forest. Only the entrance to the Biberwierer Scharte was very blown off.

Changing snow conditions from powder to hard snow and everything in between. On the ascent, a few cm of drifting snow or fresh snow(?) on top of a layer of harsh snow that was not load-bearing. Actually not bad, but my skins had no grip (I didn't slide sideways but backwards). If it hadn't been the same for others, I would have put it down to the age of my skins, but it was probably the snow.

Risks

With strong winds and light snowfall, the first fresh patches of drifting snow appeared around midday.

Successful tour from the Marienberg lifts towards the eastern Marienbergspitze and descent via the north gully and Biberwierer Scharte. More of this with pleasure!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
