Overall, there is still quite a bit of snow, but the rain has worked quite well at low altitudes, so that brown slopes can already be seen again below about 1200m.

Heavy and wet, but we were only on the road up to about 1800, at higher altitudes it certainly looks different.

Risks

According to the bulletin level 4 over 2000m. Can't say much as we haven't seen much. However, with the storm and the amount of fresh snow over the last few days (>2200m), caution and very defensive behavior is definitely advisable.

Overall impression

That was nothing, at 9:00 a.m. rain at 1800m, which got heavier and heavier. Storm above and poor visibility. Not easy to find something good in this constellation together with the avalanche situation. It's no longer Advent when there was something nice hidden behind every little door.

At least the weather will be better at the weekend, but I'll only be venturing into higher regions very carefully. Take care!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
