Snow condition
The snow conditions are very varied! Many slopes in the Verbier sector need the predicted amount of fresh snow of tomorrow, as in many places on the windward side and at terrain transitions, stones are putting a strain on the surface, whereas in the Vallon d'Arbi there is already enough snow. However, caution is required here, especially downwind (see photo).
Snow quality
Top fresh snow, which became a little heavier below about 1800m.
Risks
Warning level 3: In my opinion, the avalanche danger is delicate and should not be underestimated. Some larger avalanches were clearly visible. One person was caught in an avalanche in Nendaz on Tuesday.
Overall impression
The descents through the Vallon d'Arbi are some of the best I've done in recent years. The risk of riding there was rewarded.
