Good snow conditions down to the valley, but in the forest the snow conditions are still a little poor and could still do with some fresh snow. From 1600m the amount of snow is considerable for this time of year.

Snow quality

The fresh snow of the last few days was heavier today than yesterday. However, it was still easy to ski, at least in the areas where it wasn't all plowed up. In general, it was difficult to find something untracked today.

Risks

It was pretty cold again today, we couldn't see any triggers, but the snow cover below the fresh snow cover made a brittle impression. Ridges were blown off, bushes and stones kept peeking out. The high-altitude wind in the upper areas was moving quite a lot of snow.

Unfortunately, there wasn't much left to get today, but you could still get a few turns in good weather.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
