Snow condition

less than hoped for. a lot of rock contact in the alpine regions. just rideable up to laax valley station approx. 1100m if you don't care about the material and that's my strength.... that should be over tomorrow, but at the latest on monday. the last photo shows the situation in the rhine valley on the highway, approx. 550m a quarter of an hour before chur.

Snow quality

a maximum of 2 stars here as well. in the morning below 2500m it is just about possible to ride reasonably well above that, but here too there is a tendency to cap due to heat or wind.

several blasting attempts near the runway area were unsuccessful. can confirm the two according to slf.

Overall impression

after far too little came down here in the allgäu, i at least drove towards the precipitation areas. it all looks nice and wintry, but that's pretty much it. snow depth and quality disappointed me, well, it's the beginning of november, what can you expect. at least we went down to the valley station, which was really fun in the afternoon in the completely soaked and very soft slush - but apart from me, no one else wanted it, I only saw 2 or 3 other tracks, the rest took the gondola. PS: i was shocked by the blueline concept. i haven't been to laax for a while now, i don't know how long it's been around. the multi-class society is now also continuing in the ski resorts in the queue. if you simply pay a few (many) francs more, you can get in at the front without queuing. we can only hope that many people will do this and then another tariff will have to be introduced and then another and another. at the last level you can only queue - also nice - and wallow in anticipation, the others can ride the gondola - after all, that's something - the next ones up may have a coffee, please don't forget the blueline concept - and a very few, yes those who really deserve it, without exception have made outstanding social achievements and then deservedly have enough small change, yes they can take a few swings.seriously, i think that's the last straw. very few people have earned their money, but receive it and are then able to distance themselves from the filthy masses, at the doctor's, at the pension fund and now also at the lift ticket office. if that's the future, i'd rather just go on tours...
