Snow condition

Start of the seasonWell, it's November. The snow conditions are not too bad, according to the report 75cm. Stone contact is still unavoidable (except with a lot of luck...). But the start was already worse, it will get better. The first brave riders venture offside. But there are still numerous stones that have just been covered in snow, so watch out!

In fact, the snow that has fallen is already pretty nice! On the slopes without the influence of the sun, there were actually a few centimetres of sugary topping on a solidified base. Already a much better feeling than last season. Today the weather was clear all day and the sun was strong. With the influence of the sun, however, the snow quickly caked and hardened.

Risks

There is currently no official LLB, but as the conditions have been good all week in terms of avalanche safety, I think the situation is very relaxed. That's why we skied everything that was reasonably possible in terms of snow conditions today. All the east/north-facing slopes were in very good condition and hadn't been skied for days. Conditions that you can only dream of during the season. Almost like 10-15 years ago.

Overall impression

Some lines went well today, especially in the morning and depending on how daring you are...the risk of rocks is already high. But the foundation looks good so far!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
