Endlich Winterlandschaft in der Lizum - abseits geht realisitisch aber (noch) nix

Snow condition
Now all exposures are at least covered in snow. On the north side it looks quite good in places, but everything is still very thin. There is hardly more than 10-15cm on stones (!) anywhere. There is also snow as far as the parking lot. In the forest there is a thin layer on mountain pines and branches. Those who dare to leave the piste quickly regret it. It's not just the equipment that suffers: stones are simply not visible under the fresh snow and quickly become a dangerous anchor...
Snow quality
The fresh snow is still cold, but with a hairdryer and warm temperatures it is no longer quite fluffy but still good powder. Unfortunately, there's not enough base to make use of it. But it's good for the slopes!
Risks
According to the LLB for this region, 2nd danger spots are old snow at altitudes from 2000mh and drift snow in northern exposures from 2000mh (but more in the west). There was probably too little fresh snow in the Lizum for highly visible drifts. I didn't notice any clear signs of wind. Most likely, blown-off ridges indicate the drifts. From my personal point of view, stones under the thin layer of snow are still a major danger. We have seen some nasty falls here, which fortunately ended well.
Overall impression
I'm finally making some progress. At least 1-2 decent snowfalls are still missing for good freeriding. But at least there is now a winter landscape and you don't just have to ski on artificial snow.
