Snow report Central Switzerland, 02/25/2016

Snow condition
Perfectly adequate from top to bottom. Over the past week, we've added around 70 centimetres in total. And because it finally snowed instead of raining all the way down to Engelberg, the valley run is now in perfect condition again. Due to the wind, you only have to expect grass or stones when crossing ridges and crests.
Snow quality
Due to the wind, small, round snowflakes fell from the sky yesterday. Accordingly, the fresh snow was rather compact today. But that didn't spoil the fun at all.
Risks
So in the usual freeride routes, the danger of avalanches is averted. Everything is rutted. However, anyone escaping the crowds on a ski tour still has to be careful. The wind was strong yesterday and has blown a lot of snow. Avalanche bulletin reports warning level 3.
Overall impression
A great day, actually. But the hectic pace of the snow sports enthusiasts today spoiled the fun a little. As soon as they got on the lift, the motto was: regardless of losses. And that's how these people behave off-piste too. But there will be days - like last Wednesday - when things aren't really hectic, even on the Titlis.
