Snow condition
Light snowfall overnight, but coupled with strong winds. Gondolas were closed to guests and tourists until 13:00. Massive drifts throughout the area. Everything that could somehow be sold as leeward is full of drift snow.
Snow quality
Wind-pressed, cold snow. Grippy pistes. Off-piste, stone, grass and drifting snow packages.
Risks
Either everything is blown away or the slightest load is enough to trigger localized snow packs. Watch out in areas with little snow! Here today it was sometimes enough just to look to see massive crack propagation.
Overall impression
Unfortunately, the crucial meters of snow are still missing here. But hope dies last. Precipitation is forecast for the next few days.
