Just about 2 stars. Only the pistes or high, stone-free alpine meadows really work. But it doesn't work without ground contact. The best you can do in the forest is to climb up, skiing down is out of the question.

Snow quality

4 von 5 Sterne

If not already tracked (actually almost everything doable), then really really good. Soft & fluffy, just not enough.

Risks

Low, at least in the lower and middle areas. Also simply because there's so little snow and everything is snow-covered. Further up, however, there seems to be a lot of snow.

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

Once again, the Berchtesgaden basin has received less than the surrounding areas (as always, actually). It urgently needs supplies. But of course that doesn't stop the hordes from racing up the mountain.
After a long period of physical abstinence, I'm finally taking a few steps again. No fitness, but still very nice to be back on skis!

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
