It was snowing properly, but there was a lot of wind. That's why there are some really great powder spots and still a lot of ground contact.
Snow quality
Since it was extremely cold today (therefore no pictures) there is really nice dry powder snow. It deserves 4 stars but there are also hard packed and icy spots.
Risks
Absolute caution must be exercised on steep slopes and gullies. We were able to locate a few slides today.
Overall impression
Really cool day, which started with miserable visibility, but then allowed for fun with sunny powder turns. It was really cold!!!
