Very different, but basically as described by Tobi. In the ski area with artificial snow it's now quite ok, as well as in wind-protected locations above 1100m. In the other exposures and below, there is almost nothing - nothing at all, which is quite bad for the beginning of February. This means that many interesting tours in the Black Forest are still not possible. The exposed ridges are still (or again?) blown off.

Quite variable here too. Sometimes it's quite nice to ski on set powder snow, but often it's just some slabs of ice on which no flakes remain in the wind. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like things are improving at the moment...

Risks

It's nice to see how the willow landscape changes every week. But you should be careful here, as another part has already broken off in Zastler. The crossing track at Baldenweger Buck right between the cornices and the avalanche cone is also funny.

This was once again nothing... Apart from the view of the Alps and the fulfilled urge to move, it was pretty poor

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
