Very thin snow cover below the Cabanne des aiguilles Rouge. Stony, but skiable with caution. Increasingly good snow cover above. Hardly any stones visible. The snow cover is thin throughout the valley up to approx. 2800 m. No base.

Below the hut, especially on the south side, very crumbly. Very nice powder above. Very blown out at the top. But even there you can still find nice powder.

Risks

To my astonishment, it was still considerable. However, it was probably rather weak and focused on the northern slopes. Should become more favorable, however, as no fresh snow and strong winds are in sight for the next 2 weeks.

Tours are feasible, but dream conditions are different. Caution is the order of the day. More pictures at www.facebook.com/freerideguidejungfrauregion

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!

Thank you for your contribution to the PowderGuide project!
