Snow condition
I was only out and about in the lower and middle areas today, which is why I'm focusing on this: it's bad at the bottom and it's not getting any better. You can slide down into the valley on the fresh snow on very good ground, but you can't really ski. In the forest, contact with the ground is inevitable up to around 1100-1000m. Above that you have to be a bit careful, from 1400-1500m the snow is really thick and you can hop around.
Snow quality
In the higher forest areas & untouched it's awesome! Perfect, fluffy powder, about 20-30cm deep. Unfortunately, the hard old snow cover or the ground comes through quickly in the lower areas and there was already a lot of tracked snow.
Risks
Here today the old snow cover is very compact, the fluffy powder lies unbound above it, but further up it will certainly look a bit different.
Overall impression
Just 4*, because the snow is already very fine and with a bit of walking there were still some nice, albeit short, runs. The winter feeling was also great, it was still snowing nicely in the morning.
Unfortunately, all hell broke loose (of course, carnival) and even though there was really no one else in the area today, yesterday even here in the small ski area everything was chopped up close to the lifts.
But with a few runs, there was still plenty to be had.
