Moderate, after completing the descent the ski needed more intensive maintenance. There is usually enough snow in the lee, but the base is so weak that larger fish cavort just below the snow cover and then like to nibble on the base.

On the north side and in the shade there is still powder to powdery snow, everything that gets sun is more in the direction of the spring lid (despite the persistently low temperatures)

Risks

We were the first to climb the Nordsteig (Ferrata) after the last snowfall - there was some drift snow but no concerns. On the east side there was a very compact cover jammed between various rocks. Hard to get through in the bolt - only a narrow ledge to ride on. In my opinion, the danger was minimal.

To climb the north face untracked is always fun - all in all a beautiful day in good weather. But the descent was more of a chore than a free ride.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
