Little snow, no natural snow below 1000 m! In the large ski areas, downhill runs are possible thanks to artificial snow. Only above 1500 meters is it safe to venture into open terrain.

Snow quality

15-20 cm of settled powder on a hard crust. The last snowfall came with a lot of wind - so only hard cover at wind-exposed locations. The snow became heavy on the south side from late morning.

Risks

Avalanche situation continues to ease! Danger still comes from individual accumulations of drift snow. On the south side, isolated sliding snow slides have come down on steep sections.

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

So for the tour: "Ifen crossing" I would easily give 3 stars today. But on average there are only 2 stars. Good powder on the Ifen plateau - almost a hint of firn at the summer crossing. After that, defensive skiing was the order of the day. But got through without much ground contact.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
