Snow condition

1 von 5 Sterne

Snow is only on the north side above 1800-2000 meters in small to medium-sized snow fields

Snow quality

3 von 5 Sterne

Nice summer snow - top 10 cm nice and soft - nice to ski with short skis / Figl.

Risks

None - but risk of thunderstorms from midday / afternoon

Overall impression

3 von 5 Sterne

From the Tannheim parking lot by MTB to the Älpele (now open and managed) 50 m above the bike depot. Then continue on foot. With easy climbing via the north ridge to the Gaißhorn summit. Alternatively, the summer route via Gaiseck with snow field crossing is possible. Descent was still possible in the north gully. Currently it only makes sense from Gaiseck. Another nice tour with snow contact

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
