Snow condition
Uiui...there's really not much on the first 200m or so. If you don't care too much about the equipment, you can still get down, but you often catch the ground. There's not much snow at the top either, but it's good enough at the moment.
Snow quality
Amazingly good. On the north-west-facing standard descent at the top, the powder snow is even and moist. The further down you go, the wetter it gets, of course, but it's easy to ski all the way down. On the east side, near the summit/ridge, we had a disgusting slush cover. As soon as we got below the tree line, the powder became increasingly wet.
Risks
There were some slides on the steep eastern slope of the Schnippenkopf. It was not clear from the view today how old they were. We dug once on the east side and found a thin intermediate layer that didn't look particularly stable.
Overall impression
Beautiful tour and very few people on an otherwise very busy tour Currently relatively heavy snowfall, tomorrow could be good in the trees
