Kaisergebirge - so schnell kanns gehen. Zeit für die steilen, dunklen Nordrinnen
Snow condition

Overall impression
Snow condition
Last week I gave it 2 stars, now without any snowfall in the meantime 3. How is that possible? Well, you can still ski down to the Griesener Alm or into the valley and last week's powder has solidified so much that rocks can no longer hide underneath it.
Snow quality
just under 2 stars. Although we didn't start so early, it was very difficult to ascend in places without crampons. You could only choose between lazy snow and hard, wind-blown snow. The steep, all-day shady north gully to the 'Schönwetterfensterl' still offered quite cold, grippy, firm snow and powder in places (where it had not yet been blown down by the many previous skiers).
Risks
Absolutely relaxed on our route. Small to medium loose snow slides on very steep sunny slopes, nothing out of the ordinary.
Overall impression
My steepest descent so far, reasonable snow, great weather. Subjectively, I could also give it 4 stars, but then I wouldn't rate the 'conditions', but the brilliant tour and the thrills, and that's not what we want. PS: The toll road to Kaiserbachtal is now open again, so no more ski shuttle necessary!
