Still a very good altitude due to the altitude. Easy descent to the parking lot. The 4 stars only apply to this tour, in the Pitztal valley below it is already starting to turn green. Glacier well snowed in.
Snow quality
Beautiful snow from powder at the top (which was even still quite fluffy), to light cover below 2800 m to slush below 2500 m. All in all, very fun and still varied despite the heat. Unfortunately, that should have changed by now.
Risks
No problems on this tour, as it is mostly flat. On steep slopes of any exposure, however, the high temperatures led to spontaneous avalanches, some of them large. One even partially buried the ski slope in the Rifflsee ski area.
Overall impression
Nice, flat and safe tour with powder snow in the upper third and few people. That was fine
