Snow condition

Over 1.5 m of snow at 1200 m in the wind-protected area, about 25 cm of new snow there. Partly blown off on ridges and slope edges. You can almost always get through to the hard layer below.

Snow quality

2 von 5 Sterne

Great wind influence. Below 1200m already damp, above that actually good but mostly blown over. Slab powder and hard-frozen blown-off patches alternate.

Risks

Massive cornices at the slope entrance as well as a snow-covered gliding snow mouth at approx. 40 degrees on the north side. Some drift snow breaks away during the turn, but then continues to slide on the surface, similar to sluff. Only skied below 1500m

Overall impression

2 von 5 Sterne

Unfortunately, there was mainly powder in relatively flat forest clearings that were not on the downhill route. Everything was very inhomogeneous, so only 2 stars. Training with one or two good turns.

Note on Conditions Reports

The ConditionsReports are user-generated content - from freeriders for freeriders! Recently, a distinction has been made between MiniReport, which offers a quick status report with location, image/video and text, and ProReport, which requires more detailed information and can be uploaded by advanced users.

Every registered user can enter the MiniReport in the WebApp, iOS app or Android app. If you would also like to upload ProReports, please write to us at conditionsreporter@powderguide.com so that we can activate it for you and briefly explain it to you!
If you need help with the operation or have suggestions for improvement, please write to us at app@powderguide.com!
