Actually you could give 3 stars for above 1500, there was about 10 cm of fresh snow overnight, but due to the wind rather 2. ridges and backs are blown off.
Snow quality
As there was a lot of drift snow, it wasn't great. In places without it, it was ok, but due to the small amount of fresh snow, you always got through to the hard, rutted base.
Risks
Be sure to watch out for drift snow. The wind was quite active. You could see cornices, wind gangs, comet tails and wind scours.
Overall impression
Only from riding and snow 2. But I learned a lot again from the Saac Camp, so it was still a successful day. There are no photos, but the visibility was mostly poor anyway.
