Snow condition
The road to the material ropeway is still closed to public transport. Cab transportation is possible, otherwise you have to walk. You also have to walk a long way on the path below the hut. Soon it will only be possible from the hut. Snow conditions as in May. Quite good on the glacier, otherwise you have to watch out for stones. It's going to be a very short season here. Ruderhof Nord and Östliche Seespitze are largely bare at the top. But you can get down to Ruderhof.
Snow quality
Everything was there, from extreme slush to firn and powder. Ruderhof Süd looked very good from above. At the bottom you probably have to cross the mountain pine belt.
Risks
A snow slab, most likely an old snow problem, was triggered. Otherwise very good conditions. But keep an eye on the old snow problem. There is only one thing to do: be defensive. The transition from the Fernerkogel to the Hinterbergel is right on the edge. You can get through quite well on the edge in the ice. I wouldn't go in the middle.
Overall impression
Good course despite initial skepticism about the snow conditions. Conditions were quite good after all. In the next 1-2 weeks you can still do something good here if nothing changes radically, after that the approaches will be longer. You can certainly have a 4-star day on a nice firn descent, but over the whole week it was 2-3 stars.
