Good snow conditions for the time of year. Of course you have to go further up, but above the tree line it still looks quite good, and in some places a little below. The snow will last for a while, but further up the slopes that have been blown down all winter are slowly thinning out.

Great firn with the right timing. Departure at 8:30 in a steep south-east gully was perfect today, but unfortunately the much frequented tours are quite rutted and full of grooves, most tourers are not early risers here and unfortunately leave much too late.
Risks
Spring conditions. Some impressive wet snow slides are already down, but I think one or two are still to come. Finish the tours in good time.
Overall impression
Great firn, there's enough snow for at least another 2 weeks, what can you complain about...
