Snow condition
There is an incredible amount of snow for this time of year. Around 50-60 cm in the village and well over a meter on the mountain. Pure fairytale landscape. A year ago you could still ride your bike up to 2300m
Snow quality
30cm of fresh snow, but not quite as fluffy as it was on Sunday. Still, nothing wind-pressed, first-class, but you didn't sink in quite as deep as on Sunday.
Risks
Well-connected layers. It is considerable, which is normal with this amount of fresh snow in the last few days. However, I didn't notice any spontaneous descents and had no concerns even on steep slopes and couloirs.
Overall impression
Powder at its finest. and lots of sunshine and good visibility and no people...
