The snow has decreased significantly due to the warm temperatures. Downhill runs are limited due to the very variable snow cover.
Snow quality
Spring sends its regards. The snow was already soft from 10 a.m., making it easy to ski. No more pow, but still fun. Then slushy and wet throughout the day. Even on the north-facing slopes, the fresh snow would already be very compact.
Risks
Extreme sliding snowfalls this year in Damüls. Numerous slopes have unloaded. Even in places that are otherwise stable and had no slopes in previous seasons. When touring, extreme attention must be paid to the weather and timing. In the south-facing areas, the snow soaks extremely quickly.
Overall impression
This brings out the spring fever. Perfect sunshine and good runs in the thawed snow. Away with the down - in with the T-shirt.
