Nordseitig teils noch Pulver!

Snow condition
Snow conditions in the East Tyrolean Pustertal are still impeccable.
Snow quality
On the north side you can still find great powder, last week it snowed another 30 cm at higher altitudes. But even on north-facing slopes where the sun almost never reaches, there is no more powder from 1600m upwards. The snow must have become so warm here due to the high temperatures that it has formed a hardpack.
Risks
We were able to observe a few spontaneous avalanches today on sunny slopes. The 2 should fit but really spring conditions... Ps: The gully (NW) in the pictures was groomed yesterday morning, today the track was covered with an avalanche cone, which may have detached itself from the upper rocks with the evening/afternoon sun.
Overall impression
Partially still great powder but you have to look for it.
