It's hard to describe, as a lot has happened during the day. This morning it was still cold enough and there was fresh snow up to about 700m. Then at midday it rained high up and destroyed a lot. But everything above 1000m is still good, everything above 1200m is really good.
Snow quality
The snow quality has deteriorated significantly during the day due to the sharp rise in temperature. Below 1000m there are only two stars, at the top there is potential for three stars with asterisks.
Risks
It's blowing hard up there and a lot of snow is being dumped. You should be careful on the corresponding cornice slopes.
Overall impression
Still good conditions in the high altitudes of the Black Forest, even if they have now shifted further up due to the warming. Those who were early had fun.
